Gathered within the association "Le Magenta", the veterans and friends of the 90th RI had not met since their last general assembly in June 2019.
The lockdown associated with the COVID19 pandemic and the health problems of some the officials of the association had disrupted its proper functioning.
At the initiative of some former members, some of the members met in the “les Amis de la Martinerie” premises for a general assembly initiated to relaunch the association.
Following the resignation of Lt Colonel Paul Tadieu, president of the association, a new office chaired by Colonel Gérard Génichon has been set up. The association activities will resume soon, focusing on the development of the room devoted to the memory of the 90th RI within “la maison départementale de la mémoire militaire”.
