On Monday, July 21, 2025, a team of volunteers met in Lignières to continue the retrieval of the personal museum of Mr. Petit, now deceased.
The management of this museum, donated to “la Maison départementale de la mémoire militaire” by his wife, will require three days of work (the third is planned soon).
The sorting and registration work, already underway, will continue in August to allow the presentation of the new display cases in September. Some are already in place.
